During the month of October, 100% of students made their Accelerated Reader Goal! Congratulations Room 18 Students!
We also filled our GOOD BEHAVIOR BANK! We will be celebrating our Excellent Behavior with lunch together in the classroom and a fun dessert after lunch recess on Thursday. Let me know if you would like to contribute to the dessert selection.

Language Arts :
This week we will be completing our first trimester Benchmark Testing. During this testing, much of what students are learning is how to properly take a test on the computer.
Students will also be working or Accelerated Reader Goals and paragraph writing.
Social Studies:
Students are researching their family heritage this week. Students will then create a Google Slides presentation to share information about their family heritage and personal culture with the class.
Spelling:
Spelling Homework begins this week. We are studying long vowel sounds. On the back of the Homework Sheet are the directions for Spelling Tic-Tac-Toe. Students are to choose three activities to complete over the course of the week. We started the sentence writing part of the assignment together in class. Students were given Spelling Composition books today to complete spelling assignments in . Please label each week's spelling with the lesson number and number the activities 1-2-3
