It was great to get to visit with parents at Back to School Night. I am looking forward to a wonderful year. Thank you for signing up for Remind 101 so promptly. I hope you find it helpful.
As a note, we still need a Room 18 room parent. Please let me know if you are interested. I will keep our events simple and fun with as much direction as you like or need.
Language Arts:
We continue in lesson 1 as we develop our learning routines for language skills development and writing. The spelling list will not change because we are still in lesson 1. Our first spelling test is this Thursday.
Students are logging on to Think Central for the first time at home. We practiced at school. Please bookmark the page for them or have them add an icon to the HOME screen.

Each student will have a week when they get to be our classroom STAR STUDENT. On Tuesday of the STAR STUDENT week, the student will get to share the poster made in September. They may also bring in small items to share with the class and decorate the STAR STUDENT windowsill. Posters will be shared on Tuesday of each week. Classmates will complete a Star of the Week book each week for our Star Student.
